We were created within a few days of the European beta ending to be The Older Gamers' Horde PvP branch on the European servers. And so we have remained to date, embracing TOG's values and spirit of participation for all regardless of experience, skill levels, time to play, class, race or any other game-enforced criteria. The only hard and fast requirements that we have are that all members be aged 25 or older and are members of The Older Gamers.
Typical members of The Old Grudge include parents, retirerees, professionals and really anyone in our required age bracket who are looking to experience the game with like-minded players who understand that sometimes work calls or a diaper has to be changed mid-instance or mid-raid. Most of us don't have the time to play hours on end due to our other responsibilities and have in The Old Grudge found a home where we can take it easy and do a little laid-back gaming.
We have grown slowly but steadily since our conception and now number enough to people to field large events and provide an excellent support network for our players. We also raid on a modest schedule, limiting our raids to four raids per week and with one raid-free week every month. Though we of course enjoy making progress into the end game, our main focus is a good social atmosphere and an equal participation policy rather than performance and rapid progress. We try to keep our rules simple and our fun simple.
